FAQ

How do I apply Mac's Wax?

Always shake the bottle well first. A clean cloth or sponge will then do the trick. However, if you're tackling outside furniture, a paintbrush may be easier. It's best to apply Mac's Wax via the cloth/sponge/brush, and not directly to the surface to prevent any potential impact marking. Then don't forget a clean cloth to buff up a shine later on.

Is Mac's Wax made of beeswax?

Macs Wax uses natural waxes, but not bees wax, and for very good reason. Bees wax is naturally soft, so when applied to furniture and other surfaces, it has a tendency to leave behind finger marks and other surface spots. So while it's great for other uses, bees wax is not ideal for furniture wax.

Will Mac's Wax darken wood?

Mac's Wax brings out the natural grain in wood and this can result in darkening. If you are unsure, it's best to try it out first.

Does Mac's Wax have a smell?
